The health and well-being of Oklahoma communities has been a top priority to our mission since the beginning. Because of our generous donors, we have been able to assist numerous local charitable organizations, as well as some nationally recognized organizations.

Caleb's Cause Grant

Chickasaw Foundation, courtesy of a grant from Caleb's Cause Foundation, provided 36 packages of diapers to the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center Obstretics Clinic to donate to new mothers and families.

Communities Foundation of Oklahoma Grant

Chickasaw Foundation received a $15,000 grant from Communities Foundation of Oklahoma. These funds support the Tribal Youth Literacy Project led by the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health’s Division of Public Health and Pediatric clinics. We purchased 4,846 books to gift children five years old and under with books during each well-child visit at the Ada, Ardmore, Purcell and Tishomingo tribal clinics.

Partnerships

Chickasaw Foundation is pleased to partner with other organizations who share a mission similar to that of the Chickasaw Foundation, encourage collaborative efforts to address community needs and provide opportunities to enhance the lives of those residing within Oklahoma or communities significant to the Chickasaw Nation as determined by the Chickasaw Foundation Board of Trustees.

McCall's Chapel School, a residential facility for individuals with mental and developmental disabilities, was able to purchase Amazon Echo Shows for their clients to help with everyday tasks such as taking medicine, staying active and communicating with their nurses.

The LifeShare Foundation, an organization devoted to savings lives through organ, eye and tissue donation, is establishing its Grief Support Program. This will allow them to provide additional support for their donor families when they are most vulnerable.

Chickasaw Foundation provided funding to the Coalition of Oklahoma Breastfeeding Advocates for the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center Women's clinic new breast pump loaner program. Chickasaw Foundation received a Walmart Community Grant to help support the Hofanti Chokma "To Grow Well" program within the Chickasaw Nation Division of Research and Public Health. This initiative collaborates with child-serving programs, communities and families to help children thrive through a number of activities including workshops, parent groups and more.
