Chickasaw Foundation’s Donor Spotlight

Chickasaw Foundation is excited to feature Michele Shahbandeh for the donor spotlight. Originally from Coalgate, OK, Michele and her husband have lived in the Tulsa area for 43 years, where she owns and operates Integrity Biomedical Services, LLC, which sells and services patient monitoring all over the United States and other countries.

Ms. Shahbandeh, a Chickasaw and Choctaw citizen, enjoys contributing to the Chickasaw Foundation. “I love to give back and support any way I can,” she said. “Chickasaw Foundation scholarships have helped my three young adults, and with [the Foundation’s] help, they have become a doctor, graphic designer and an engineer.”

Though Ms. Shahbandeh resides near Tulsa, Chickasaw country has a special place in her heart. “My husband and I love to travel and have been many places,” she mentioned. “But one of my favorite places to go is Ada. It is there I feel most complete, to be with my family and the Chickasaw people. I have also had the pleasure of speaking at the Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference a few times and the experience is always wonderful.”

The Chickasaw Foundation is grateful for Ms. Shahbandeh’s support!

Chickasaw Foundation ECCP Spotlight

The Chickasaw Foundation is pleased to feature Jared Buckaloo as the Employee Charitable Contribution Plan Champion.

Buckaloo, who has served with the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police since 2020, considers it a blessing to give back. “I’m very thankful to have the opportunity to serve the Chickasaw Nation and all of the citizens within the tribal boundaries [through the ECCP program].”

Jared went on to say how much he loves working for the Chickasaw Nation. “The Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department is full of great officers,” he said, “and I am thankful I can wear the patch that says, ‘Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police.’”

Chickasaw Foundation appreciates Jared not only for his selfless service to the community but also for his generosity!
