Foundation Footnotes: Q1 of 2026

The Chickasaw Foundation is hitting its stride for 2026, as many wonderful things are happening with more on the horizon (that we will share soon). There are a few things to relay to you all that we’re excited about.

As you may have seen, we released our 2026-2027 comprehensive scholarship application, featuring more than 60 scholarships that range from business, education, engineering, health, and much more. It brings us great joy, due to the generosity of our donors, to make these scholarships available.

We’re only 3 ½ months into 2026 and we’ve approved 25 different school groups to attend the Chickasaw Cultural Center as part of our Inchokkaalaali (I’m Visiting) Program. That doesn’t even include all the schools that have been approved and visited in fall 2025!

Our programs continue to flourish and we’re happy to meet real needs. Students have received critical funds, families are being assisted in dire circumstances and people are being lifted back on their feet after suffering from unforeseen economic hardships--all because of our donors.

Lastly, preparation for our 5th (!) annual golf scramble is underway and we are truly thankful for the support we have received from sponsors. The generosity blows us away. We’re hoping to have a clear, sunny day for golf on May 11, 2026 at Oak Hills Golf & Country Club.

As always, we’re thankful for your support in helping us carry out our mission to promote the general welfare and culture of the Chickasaw people by supporting educational, health, historical and community activities and programs.
