We hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With the new year comes new opportunities for growth, for services to provide, and for lives to change. We are excited for 2025 to be another year of instilling hope and fostering resilience in Chickasaw families and friends.

There are two important items to go over briefly.

One, the Sulphur Storefront Improvement Grant. At this point, we’ve disbursed thousands of dollars to business owners. We are incredibly thankful for that -- with so much more to come. That is a tremendous blessing. Thank you to all who donated and played a role in rebuilding and restoring Sulphur.

Two, our scholarship program. As of this week we are beginning to disburse spring semester funds to our 67 scholarship recipients for the 2024-2025 year. Additionally, we released the spring 2025 only application which includes three scholarships. And in just two short months, we will release our 2025-2026 comprehensive application!

Let me take you back to the first paragraph for a moment, and I’d like you to pay special attention to one important point: we are changing lives. Whether it's through awarding scholarships, easing the burden of funeral or medical expenses, sending students to the cultural center, supporting disaster relief efforts, or so much more -- we are making a real impact in the lives of many people. And you are a crucial part of this change. Your donations -- the way you help spread the word through social media, or simply by talking about our work with others -- all contribute to the success we’re seeing. We're incredibly grateful for your support, and we're excited to continue this journey with you in 2025!
