Mr. Billy McCurdy serves as a trustee for the Chickasaw Foundation. He brings over 35 years of expertise in management and marketing, coupled with a remarkable 40-year tenure collaborating with First American organizations. As the proprietor of Reel Vizon Research LLC and McCurdy Group Inc., Billy oversees thriving enterprises that emphasize helping First American businesses through research and continuous improvement.
Previously, he served as a faculty member at Southeastern Oklahoma State University's John Massey School of Business for nearly a decade. During his tenure, he assumed the role of director of MBA programs for two years. Billy holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration, fortifying his academic background.
His commitment to entrepreneurship is underscored by his certification as a FastTrac New Venture Facilitator by the prestigious Kaufman Foundation in Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, Billy is a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds certification in casino management from the University of Massachusetts. Billy is also a past graduate of the Grantsmanship Training Center.
Billy and his wife Carol call Ada, Oklahoma, home. They take joy in their family, which includes three grown children and a cherished grandson.
